His focus today is on the design and implementation of modern banking platforms. In this role, he designs and configures core banking systems and develops architectures that enable new business processes to be flexibly integrated via microservices and APIs. He also designs highly available, scalable data platforms and implements cyber-resilience backup solutions to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.

His core expertise lies in the implementation and further development of tailor-made solutions in the areas of finance, mortgage processes and payment transactions. He also has extensive experience in the development of microservices and the integration of e-banking and advisory systems. Thanks to a wide range of projects both in Switzerland and abroad, he is familiar with various client environments and is able to quickly familiarise himself with new topics in order to find sustainable solutions to even complex issues.

Challenging digitalisation and transformation initiatives for national and international financial institutions are at the core of his work. He currently leads a nationwide transformation programme in the insurance sector as Programme Manager. In this role, he brings together different interests, creates structure around complex topics and ensures that strategic objectives are achieved.

Thanks to his combination of a banking apprenticeship and a degree in business engineering, specialising in computer science and mechanical engineering, he possesses the necessary skills to implement Avaloq projects both functionally and technically. He is currently working as a developer in the Treasury department and also has experience in Avaloq Access Security and test automation.

With a degree in translation and a qualification in Business Information Technology, he is skilled at bridging the gap between business expertise and technology. He integrates different perspectives and translates requirements into viable, value-adding solutions. In recent years, he has supported organisations in both national and international contexts in setting up and further developing tailor-made products and IT systems.

With over a decade’s experience in the banking sector, he has a broad understanding of various specialist areas and their interrelationships. During this time, he has led projects and analyses across the entire value chain. His analytical and methodical approach is rooted in academic research, with a focus on particle physics and the study of the early universe.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s in Business Information Technology, he brings both a sound understanding of business administration and in-depth technical expertise to the role. As an experienced full-stack developer, he designs and implements modern applications across the entire technology stack. His experience as an Avaloq parameterisation specialist and as a qualified banking professional complements his technical profile with industry knowledge from the financial sector.
